The International Gay Bowling Organization (IGBO) represents over lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) members from Australia, Canada, Germany, New Zealand, United Kingdom and United States. For much of the 20th century, widespread discrimination and harassment forced gay men and lesbians to hide their sexual orientation.
